Floating Solar Sphere above Stockholm intersection

Stockholm (Sweden) is the sinonim for a road safety improvements. For years this scandinavian city is investing in road safety but also environmental protection. With new masterplan for Stockholmsporten, they are going in new investments.
Danish architectural Bjarke Ingels Group just have won the Stockholmsporten master plan competition with design of one intersection. This intersection will be new entrance portal into Stockholm, about 15 km north of the city. Probably, this intersection will be new symbol of the city, mostly because of giant sphere, with solar panels, supplying 235 houses with power. This sphere will provide driver 180 degree view of the surrounding, because of sphere mirror bottom.
